The T24-ANTA, T24-ANTB and T24-ANTC are three antenna options which can be integrated with any of the T24 Modules which are factory fitted with UFL antenna connectors such as the external antenna options of the Acquisition Modules (T24-SAe, T24-IAe, T24-VAe).

The T24-ANTA is a PCB antenna designed to be fitted inside a plastic enclosure.

The T24-ANTB is a whip antenna with a fixed 90 degree elbow designed for mounting externally.
Recommended operating temperature range -20°C to +85°C

The T24-ANTC is a whip antenna with a variable angled elbow for mounting externally.

The T24-AR is an active repeater designed to increase or extend range and overall coverage of T24 Wireless Telemetry Acquisition Modules. The repeater allows T24 modules to transmit around obstacles such as building or walls, etc.

The repeater acts as transparent link between the Acquisition modules and the Consumer, e.g Base Station or Handheld Display. The Repeater is powered by either a pair of alkaline D Cells or an external power supply (5-18 Volts).

The T24-AR will allow messages to be repeated once which can effectively double the radio range. T24 has a range of up to 200m (650ft) without the use of a repeater. Adding multiple repeaters will not increase the range but can increase overall coverage.

Q: How many T24 Acquisition Modules (Strain, Current, Voltage) can the T24-AR Active Repeater support?

A: Many devices can operate on the same radio channel depending on the sample rate of the acquisition modules present in the system. Therefore each Active Repeater is capable of supporting up to 200 data packets per second, ie. 10 devices at 20 Hz or 20 devices at 10Hz.

Q: Can I wall mount the T24-AR?

A: Yes, there are 4 mounting holes on the back of the ABS case.

Q: Will the T24-AR work with existing units in the field?

A: The T24-AR is compatible with all units in the field except for T24-HS Handheld Displays manufactured prior to June 2011. The T24-AR will not wake and sleep unless the T24-HS has the 2.1 radio version which is now installed into all T24 equipment. Existing radio modules can be upgraded if required. Q: Would the Active Repeater assist with range if I am using an T24-ANTB or ANTC Whip Antenna?

A: Yes it would provided all your sensors were in the same horizontal plane. If your sensor and receiver are not in the same horizontal plane this can sometimes lead to alignment issues which can often be resolved by using the T24-ANTA as it can radiate in more directions. However the ANT-A does not have as great a range as the ANT-B or C antennas.

Do I need to align the T24-AR in a particular way to get the signal around corners?

If the T24-ANTA PCB antenna is fitted to the receiver and transmitter then no special directions are needed except that the T24-AR needs to be in direct line of site of both the transmitting T24 module and the receiving T24 module.

This module is a battery charger and power supply suitable for the T24 range of telemetry acquisition modules.

From a 5 Volt supply the module produces a regulated 3.3V for the acquisition module and can also charge a suitable Li-ion Battery.

A: T24-SA 2.5mV/V calibrated strain gauge based measurement; T24-VA 0-10V, T24-IA 4-20mA.

The T24-TK has been designed to ease and simplify the configuration and calibration of all modules in the T24 product range. The software recognizes the connected ( or paired) module and presents a set of specifically tailored pages in a clear and user-friendly manner.

In most cases a T24 system will require initial configuration using the toolkit after which the system will operate autonomously. The toolkit would only be required again if the configuration required changing.

The data viewer and logging functions can be used on an existing, installed system without interrupting its operation.

This software release for Windows allows up to 24 T24 modules (T24-SA, T24-VA or T24-IA) to be viewed and logged to a CSV file. You can configure the number of channels, communications settings, main title and the channel descriptions and these configurations can be saved and loaded at any time.

With this software you can:

View data from up to 24 T24 acquisition modules
Configure the number of channels, log interval, display resolution etc
Log data to CSV file for easy viewing in MS Excel
